BOSTON, Mass. — There's a new tiny, baby monkey at the Franklin Park Zoo and it's really cute.
The baby, whose gender isn‘t known yet, was born on Feb. 27 and is the third child monkeys Wilma and Federico, joining siblings Pebbles and Betty.

The baby cotton-top tamarin can be spotted taking turns riding on its mother and father back.
“Cotton-top tamarin are very social animals and our guests will have the unique opportunity to observe the family
dynamics as the baby grows up," said said Jeannine Jackie, assistant curator of the Tropical Forest.
Zoo New England participates in the "Cotton-Top Tamarin Species Survival Plan", an inter-zoo program that
works to maintain genetically diverse and demographically stable captive populations of species.
Wilma did give birth to twins, but sadly, one did not survive.
