FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — A man was arrested for abusing his dog after police say someone saw him swinging the dog by its arms.

Aramis Oritz, 20, was seen swinging his dog around “like a parent would swing their child around by the arms.”

Ortiz then allegedly slammed the dog off the ground several times.

Police said the dog had facial injuries and appeared scared.

When police approached him, officers say he hid the dog under brush and told them he didn’t have a dog with him.

The dog, named Chaos, is being treated at a local vet.
