Flash flooding hits the North Shore

LYNN, Mass. — Flash flooding in Lynn left drivers stuck in flood waters Saturday morning.

A flash flood warning was issued for parts of the North Shore until 8 a.m. Saturday. Boston 25 News viewers were quick to send in pictures and videos of the extent of the flooding.

The biggest impact in Lynn was along Boston Street and Western Avenue.

Lynn police tell Boston 25 by 8 a.m., they had already responded to multiple flooding calls. Police say no one has been hurt.

But it wasn't just flooding to hit the North Shore; some even saw lightning and hail.

Remember, it is never safe to attempt to drive through flood waters!
