SALEM, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Firefighters battled a 3-alarm blaze in Salem, N.H. Wednesday night.
Crews responded to 87 Lowell Rd. just before 9 p.m. for a fire at the LL&S Wood Recycling Plant. A third alarm was quickly struck.
Police say the fire started outside the building. The business had been closed at the time, so it took a while for someone to spot the fire and call it in.
Fire crews had to drag fire houses far away to get enough water. Three hydrants and a nearby pond were used to pump enough water to put out the flames.

So far, no injuries have been reported. Crews were still working to put out the fire early Thursday morning.
The Salem Fire Chief said a local beach would be closed on Thursday due to concerns from the massive plant fire.
