Fire displaces 20 in Brookline; no injuries reported

BROOKLINE, Mass — Crews from multiple cities responded to a late-night fire in Brookline.

Firefighters were called to a large apartment building on Babcock Street around 11 p.m. Sunday.

Crews battled single-digit temperatures and frozen hydrants as they worked to put out the flames inside the walls.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

It doesn't appear anyone was injured, but about 20 people were displaced as a result.
