Female Framingham student reports pic taken of her in shower

Framingham State University police issued a safety bulletin after a female student reported someone took a photo of her in the shower.

Police said the student was showering on the sixth floor of Larned Residence Hall when a phone or camera entered the shower stall and took a photo. She said whoever took the photo then ran out of the bathroom.

The only description the student was able to give was that the camera or phone was black and the hand holding it was white.

School officials said whoever was responsible for taking the photo was either a resident or a guest of a resident due to security.

"It's set up in a way so that someone who is not a resident of the building or a guest can't just walk in to the hall and just walk around. It's impossible for that to happen," said Melinda Stoops, Framingham State University Dean of Students.

The school had sent out alerts and residence halls had held meetings with students about the incident.
