BOSTON — Dozens of dog owners brought their pups to a historic Boston hotel to support the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
Every December, the Fairmont Copley Plaza hosts a free birthday party for the hotel's canine ambassador, Carly Copley.
Guests are invited to bring their dogs and donations to the rescue and read a popular book about the hotel's beloved "Catie Copley."
"It's nice to be able to have a day to spend with them and have cake and share a little bit more then the regular 'hi, how you doing today,'" The Fairmont Copley's Michael Eades said.
More than 100 people and their pets showed up to celebrate.
They even had a special birthday cake for the dogs, and treats for owners.
