Ex-Londonderry youth football asst. coach arrested

LONDONDERRY, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A former youth football coach is now facing sexual assault charges.

Timothy Longua, 41, of Londonderry, N.H., was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault and one count of Felonious Sexual Assault. Longua was released on $10,000 cash bail.

According to police, there are two victims under the age of 13. The incidents are alleged to have taken place at Longua's home between the summer of 2012 and January of 2013. The victims reported that on more than one occasion, during sleepovers, the assaults took place in the middle of the night.

The president of the Londonderry Wildcats football program told the Union Leader that Longua was an assistant coach for a team of second and third-graders last fall.

Longua is scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on March 25.
