Ex-Fitchburg teacher pleaded guilty to raping student

WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A former Fitchburg sex education teacher pleaded guilty in connection with the rape of one of her students.

In court, Rachelle Gendron, 28, pleaded guilty to enticing a teen, half her age, into a sexual relationship. The ex-teacher was working at the North Central Charter Essential School at the time.

Prosecutors used text messages and naked photos of Gendron as evidence in the case. She was sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison and 10 years probation.
