Dropkick Murphys hosting live stream performance from Fenway Park to raise money for charity

FENWAY PARK — The Massachusetts-based band Dropkick Murphys is streaming a free performance titled “Streaming Outta Fenway" presented by the Boston-area tech company Pega.

It will take place on Friday, May 29 at 6 p.m. EST on the band’s Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Twitch pages.

The live stream will have a text-to-donate campaign to raise money for the Boston Resiliency Fund, Feeding America, and the Greater Boston Habitat for Humanity.

Special guest Bruce Springsteen will also join DKM remotely.

The group’s first live stream concert, “Streaming Up From Boston”, was held on St. Patrick’s Day and was watched more than 13 million times. During that event, more than $60,000 was raised for the Boston Resiliency Fund.
