PLYMOUTH, Mass. — The driver of an ambulance is being cited after a Monday morning crash in Plymouth.
The crash happened around 9:10 a.m. at the intersection of Standish Avenue and Cherry Street.
A Brewster Ambulance had been heading north on Standish while responding to an emergency call. Police say the ambulance did not come to a full stop at the intersection, which is when the ambulance was struck by a car on Cherry Street and rolled over.
The two medics in the ambulance were taken to South Shore Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The three occupants of the car that struck the ambulance were taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth and have since been released.
