CONCORD, N.H. — One person was killed on Interstate 89 Friday night after a rollover accident near Concord, N.H., according to state police.
Witnesses told police the 2000 Ford Explorer was going pretty fast when it swerved abruptly to avoid slowed traffic, which apparently caused the driver to lose control and the car to roll into the median.
Amanda Hadley, 38, was thrown from the vehicle as it rolled. She died at the scene, police said.
Hadley, of Rowley, Massachusetts, was not wearing a seatbelt. Two other passengers were taken to Concord Hospital with minor injuries.
Police say speed contributed to the crash, but it’s still under investigation.
