CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — One person has been arrested after allegedly stealing a car in Boston and then being involved in a crash in Cambridge.
Boston police said the suspect carjacked a Rav4 around 5:30 p.m. on Edgerly Road. Witnesses said the victim was a delivery driver from a nearby restaurant.
The suspect crossed the Charles River into Cambridge, but at the intersection of Mass. Ave. and Vassar Street he was involved in a crash with an MBTA bus and another vehicle.
Police said the suspected tried to run away on foot, but was caught by state troopers.
The delivery driver whose car was stolen is OK, and only minor injuries were reported from the crash.
