NANTUCKET, Mass. — The desperate search for two fishermen continues Tuesday morning after a fishing boat sank about 10 miles off the coast of Nantucket.
The United States Coast Guard said it received a distress call from a 69-foot fishing boat, Misty Blue, around 6:10 p.m. Monday.

A massive search was launched, and the Coast Guard said a nearby fishing boat was able to rescue two of the crew members.
The crew of the boat that rescued the two fishermen reported seeing a lifeboat and other debris in the area.
Members of the Coast Guard told Boston 25 News that the massive water search continued overnight, and the air search resumed at first light.
Just after 6 p.m., Massachusetts State Police said its sonar located a large object underwater that they believe is the vessel. Divers are expected to return to that area Thursday when weather conditions improve to confirm if it is the boat.
John Verissimo has been a fisherman for more than 30 years and told Boston 25 News that the waters around Nantucket are not so forgiving.
"It's nothing nice," he said. "It's Nantucket shoals. It depends where your boat is."
Authorities say the rescued crewmembers were found in good condition.
Atlantic Cape Fisheries, the owner of the vessel, identified the two missing crewmembers as 44-year-old Michael Roberts and 32-year-old Jonathan Saraiva.
Roberts' wife, Tammy, says Roberts doesn't know how to swim. She says the captain reported seeing Roberts in the galley putting on a life jacket just before the sinking.
The Misty Blue was homeported out of New Bedford.
The cause of the sinking remains under investigation.
