CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — A United Launch Alliance Delta IV rocket successfully launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Saturday to deliver a communications satellite into orbit.

The rocket, which carried a military communications satellite, was scheduled to lift off at 7:45 p.m. from Space Launch Complex 37.
The launch was delayed until 8:18 p.m. due to a technical issue.
