Three of the top players in the world are grouped together for the first two rounds of the Deutsche Bank Championship, scheduled to begin Friday, September 4 at TPC Boston in Norton.
Jason Day, a runaway winner last week at the Barclay's and winner of the 2015 PGA Championship, is grouped with Jordan Spieth, the 2015 Masters and 2015 US Open champion, as well as Bubba Watson, the third-ranked player in the world.
Day, Spieth and Watson will tee off for round one at 9:30am on Friday, September 4 on the tenth hole and will return to action for round two at 1:40pm on Saturday, September 5 on the first hole.
Rory McIlroy also begins the first round on the tenth hole, teeing off at 9:06am Friday with Kevin Kisner and Hideki Matsuyama. McIlroy's group tees off at 1:04pm Saturday from the first hole.
Chris Kirk, who won the Deutsche Bank Championship in 2014, will play with Webb Simpson and Louis Oosthuizen.
Henrik Stenson, the 2013 champion at TPC Boston, is grouped with 2015 British Open champion Zach Johnson and Dustin Johnson, who finished second this season at the US Open to Spieth.
The Deutsche Bank Championship is the second event in the PGA's FedExCup Playoffs. The top 100 players on tour are eligible to compete.
