Child burned by fireworks in Marshfield

MARSHFIELD, Mass. — A child was burned by fireworks on the night before the Fourth of July in Marshfield, according to the Marshfield Fire Department.

The incident happened on Farragut Road on Tuesday night, and the department responded to a report of a burn victim.

The department confirmed it was a child who was burned, but no age or gender was given.

The child was taken to South Shore Hospital with minor burns to their legs.
