CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — A dump truck hit and killed a pedestrian in Cambridge Friday evening.
Officials said the pedestrian crash happened in the area of Putnam Avenue and Magazine Street, near Central Square.
The Middlesex DA's office is investigating this crash.
The victim has been identified as a woman in her 20s.
Police are asking people to avoid the area as much as possible and to expect delays.
