LIDO, Calif. — A suspected thief in California helped himself to what looked like a box from amazon on Thursday afternoon.
But he was about to find out what happens when you steal from Amanda Torres and her fiancé.
“It was full of poop,” Torres explained.
But she said the first time someone stole a package of her porch, the camera didn’t get a good look at the suspect.
She told FOX40 she set up a surveillance system to keep her family safe.
Torres said the suspect was caught on several surveillance cameras stealing another Amazon box just a few days before.
“We agreed that we would do it again to make sure we got a better picture this time of his face," she explained.
So she and her fiancé decided to put out another box to lure him back in front of the camera.
It paid off -- they got an image of crisp shot of his face as he walked up the driveway.
He got a box full of poop.
