BOURNE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A school bus carrying Bourne Public School students reportedly caught on fire Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Bourne Fire Department, firefighters received the call regarding the fire around 2:52 p.m.
When firefighters arrived on scene, the bus was 30 to 40 percent involved.
The bus driver of a First Student bus said she reportedly heard a "pop" and pulled over. All of the students exited the bus and no injuries were reported.
Crews had cleared the scene by 3:49 p.m.
Fire officials said the fire originated in the engine compartment.
