BROCKTON, Mass. — A string of convenience store robberies in Brockton is under investigation.

Police say three stores were hit in just over an hour.

The manager of a Mobile gas station on Belmont Street that was robbed said the four masked robbers knew what exactly what they were doing.

The ATM of a 7-eleven on Belmont Street was ripped right out of the wall, and two safes were taken from a store on Pleasant Street.

“They moved the entire counter, to move the safe. The safe and ATM have bolts in the ground and they were cut,” Khan Mudasser said. “It took them about four seconds to open the front door. One of them walks in the back and cuts the video line.”

Brockton police believe the robbers took off in a white Ford Econoline van.
