BOSTON — The interview process begins Monday as Boston Public Schools searches for its new superintendent.
Marie Izquierdo, the chief academic officer for schools in Miami-Dade County, Florida, will appear before several panels Monday.
She'll meet community members and school committees, as well as parents and teachers.
The person who is chosen will replace interim-superintendent Laura Perille, who has been on the job since Tommy Chang stepped down last July.
Two other candidates, Brenda Cassellius and Oscar Santos, will also be interviewed this week.
