Boston police make arrests-seize evidence in East Boston

BOSTON — Early Saturday morning, Boston Police pulled over a car in an alleged drug transaction.

As a result of that stop, police say they recovered the following items from the motor vehicle; a Taurus .38 caliber revolver loaded with six rounds, eight plastic baggies of suspected Fentanyl, two digital scales and a white rock like substance believed to be crack cocaine. Also seized was a large amount of cash.

Officers arrested Giovanni Nolan, 24, of Lynn charging him with Trafficking Class A (Fentanyl), Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B, Drugs (Crack Cocaine), Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.

A 17-year-old male juvenile was also charged and will be summoned into court at a later date.
