BOSTON — A Boston College hockey player is off the ice indefinitely after being attacked off-campus.

BC Athletics said Kevin Lohan was the victim of an unprovoked assault while at a pizza place on Boylston Street Friday night.

Video obtained by Boston 25 News shows pushing and shoving, then Lohan gets punched from behind and falls to the ground.

Lohan's jaw was broken during the altercation, and the athletic director said he will be off the ice indefinitely.

At the same time, the entire group goes to the ground and it becomes difficult to see what transpires.

The matter is under investigation by Boston police.
