SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) - The remains of 40-year-old Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Sullivan and the three other Marines killed last week arrived in Delaware Friday for identification and autopsies.
Sullivan was one of five service members shot and killed in the apparent terror attack at two military facilities Thursday.
He served two tours of duty in Iraq, and earned two Purple Hearts.
There is no word yet about funeral services, but a bar owned by Sullivan’s brother has created their own memorial.
Nathan Bill’s Bar and Restaurant has a toast to Sullivan set up where people have been leaving notes honoring the fallen marine.
