Body of missing Newton North student found, foul play not suspected

NEWTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – The body of a missing Newton North High School student last seen Oct. 3 was discovered in Natick late Saturday.

According to authorities, foul play is not suspected in the death of 18-year-old Karen Douglas.

No additional details were immediately available.

Investigators told FOX 25 Douglas' car was found about a half-mile away from school in Newtonville with the keys in the ignition.

Douglas was last seen at her home in Newton at about 1 p.m. Her parents learned their daughter had missed classes Thursday when they attended an Open House at the school that night.

SKYFOX was over a scene on Blake Street Friday police said was connected to the search for Douglas. They did not release details of the search.
