PLYMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A body found along the shoreline in Plymouth Thursday belongs to a missing Malden teenager.
A construction crew working on a seawall along the shoreline spotted the body around 10 a.m. At first, Ed Pert and his nephew Dylan Lynch thought they were looking at the remnants of a Halloween Prank, but upon closer examination, realized it was a body.
"Usually the only thing we witness is lobster traps, or a shark ...you know what I mean a half eaten seal, not bodies...So it was kind of a shock to us," said Pert.
Police responded and were on scene for much of the afternoon at Gurnet Point.
The Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz said that the body is Josue D. Quispe, who was going to turn 19 on Nov. 15. He was listed missing on Oct. 17.
No foul play is suspected at this time. The medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death.
