Billerica man accused of 7th OUI

TWEKSBURY, Mass. — A Billerica man was arrested and charged with OUI for the seventh time, police said.

Tweksbury police said officers observed an erratic driver heading south on Main Street just after 9 a.m. Wednesday in a vehicle that did not have a front or rear license plate.

The vehicle was stopped and police said the driver, who was identified as Edward Gardner, 51, was showing signs of impairment.

Police learned Gardner’s license had been revoked and he was placed under arrest.

He was charged with OUT drugs seventh offense, and several motor vehicle violations including a revoked license, marked lanes violation, a number plate violation and operating to endanger.
