BREWSTER, Mass. — Police are searching for a car connected to an alleged hit-and-run late Tuesday night that seriously injured a bicyclist in Brewster.
Brewster Police said a 32-year-old man was riding on the south end of Millstone Road when he was hit by a driver and seriously injured, according to a news release. He was taken to Barnstable Airport and then flown by helicopter to a Boston hospital. His current condition and the extent of his injuries in not known.
Brewster Police are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact them at 508-896-7011.
The driver of the car did not stay at the scene and Brewster Police are now looking for a light-colored sedan - possibly with a roof rack and a hatchback - with damage to the front passenger side.
A damaged bicycle was seen on the side of the road as investigators reconstructed the crash scene.
