BOSTON — A bicyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a tow truck in Allston Tuesday night.
The crash happened around 10:30 at the intersection of Linden Street and Brighton Avenue.
The driver of the truck told The Boston Globe that he was driving through the intersection and had a green light when the cyclist ran a red light and was hit.
Police said the crash remains under investigation.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene, police said, and the cyclist was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
