Bicyclist rushed to hospital after being struck by car, Westford Police say

A man is believed to be in critical condition after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle in Westford, police say.

The victim was rushed by MedFlight to a Boston hospital after being hit on Plain Road, police say.

Westford Police Chief Thomas McEnaney said the driver of the car stopped after the incident, and is cooperating with police.

Police say no charges have been filed, and the matter is still under investigation.
