Bear walks up to door of Holyoke house

HOLYOKE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A black bear was reportedly hanging out in Holyoke this week, and decided to approach someone's front door.

The bear was spotted Wednesday evening walking on Northampton Street, according to MassLive.com. He then allegedly climbed a fence and was seen walking around someone's yard. Then, he walked up to the door of 1308 Northampton St., and stood on his hind legs. He may have been interested in a decorative wreath, MassLive reported. However, in the photo attached to this post, it looks as though the bear may have been looking to get inside.

Perhaps he then realized he wasn't an invited guest, because he climbed over a fence and fled the area.

Apparently, the homeowner wasn't surprised and said it wasn't the first time he'd seen a bear in town.
