FALL RIVER, Mass. (

) -- Police say two men tried to drag a 60-year-old woman into a van in broad daylight at a busy intersection. Officials are hoping the public can help track the suspects down.
Police released a surveillance photo around 2 a.m. on Thursday of the van they believe the suspects are riding in. The victim told police she was walking on Division Street near Grant Street at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday when the driver leaned out of the van and asked her for directions.
When she got closer to it, the woman says she was grabbed by a second man, who held her around her arms and tried to drag her into the van.
The victim said she was able to get away and immediately ran for help, but the suspects took off before she could get a look at the license plates.
Police are asking everyone to take a close look at the surveillance picture and to call them immediately if you recognize this van. Police believe it's an early to mid 90's Chevy. It's white with a blue or green stripe painted on both sides.
The victim was able to give police a brief description of the suspects. She says the man who grabbed her is a thin white man in his 30s to mid 40s, about 6-feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes. She says he was clean shaven with a tattoo on his left forearm. At the time of the attack he was wearing blue shorts and a white t-shirt.
She described the driver as a thin white man in his 40's with light brown hair.
This is the third attempted abduction in Fall River in less than a week. Police arrested a man on Monday who allegedly tried to kidnap an 18-year-old last Friday. Police believe he may also be connected to the attempted abduction of a 9-year-old girl the same day.
