Arrests made in connection with robbery of Wareham restaurant

WAREHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Three men were arrested in connection with the robbery of a Wareham restaurant. The eatery went as far as offering a $5,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the thieves who stole a significant amount of money.

Last month, two men wearing masks and all black clothing approached the manager of Lindsey's Restaurant, who was doing paperwork in a back office. They allegedly threw her across the room, pushed her into a desk, threatened her and told her not to move. The men stole cash from the safe as well as all the video surveillance equipment.

A bartender was also in the building and had left the office moments before. She heard noise and called the office from the second floor. The manager let her know what was happening and she ran outside and called police.

Police and K-9 officers searched the area that night, but did not find the suspects.

However, three men were arrested Saturday for their involvement in the robbery after executing a search warrant regarding possible evidence. Detectives were able to recover evidence outside the home of 27-year-old Eric Morrison of Wareham and he was taken into custody.

After executing the search warrant, police were able to recover enough evidence to make two additional arrests. David Reed, 27, of Plymouth and Michael Fula, 30, of Wareham were both arrested for their involvement in the unarmed robbery.

All three men are being held without bail and face unarmed robbery charges. They will be arraigned Monday.
