(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – FOX 25's Maria Stephanos talks with Andy Casanova about The Ally Foundation and the 10th Annual Flip Flop Regatta. Casanova's daughter, Ally Zapp, was murdered by a repeat sex offender at a Burger King on Route 24 in 2002.
After her death, her friends and family started The Ally Foundation in her honor. Every year, the foundation hosts the Flip Flop Regatta which is the only sanctioned sailing race in Boston Harbor and one of the most respected in the Northeast.
