BOSTON — Red Sox fans attending postseason games at Fenway Park should arrive early due to additional security screenings.
Game 3 of the ALDS against the Houston Astros will be played at Fenway Park this Sunday at 2:38 p.m. Gates into the park will open at 12:38 p.m., two hours before the game. In anticipation of increased traffic in and around the ballpark, additional security screenings will be added.
Heavy traffic is expected during the ALDS and fans are encouraged to take public transportation.

Bag checks and walkthrough metal detectors will be used, as always. Additionally, Boston Police tactical teams will be stationed inside and outside of the ballpark. Explosive Ordinance Detection (EOD) teams will also sweep the park and remain on site during the game.
Fans should speak up if they see anything suspicious by talking to a uniformed Red Sox staff member, texting Red Sox security at 23215 with 'security' in the subject line, calling the security hotline at 617-226-6411 or by using the Ballpark App.
