NORWOOD, Mass. — A stolen kitten from the Petco in Norwood has prompted a police investigation.
The 4-month-old kitten was being kept at the adoption center of the story, which is run by the Bay State Animal Cooperative Adoption Center.
Just before 1 p.m. Monday, a man walked in, kicked open a cage, grabbed the kitten inside the put it in his jacket and walked out.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for the safe return of that kitten.
Police said surveillance video indicates the man may have had a female companion.
