BOSTON — One person has died after a serious crash in West Roxbury involving a plow and a car.
The crash happened around 1:30 Thursday morning on Washington Street, near the Dedham line, and Boston EMS said three people were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries.
Police told Boston 25 News later Thursday morning the driver of the white car died from injuries sustained in the crash. The initial investigation indicates that the driver of the car hit the plow truck, police said.
The road was closed for several hours. Crews removed the car and the plow just after 6 a.m and the road was reopened.
It’s unknown at this time what caused the crash on the divided road or what direction the vehicles were traveling.
