MANCHESTER, N.H. (Myfoxboston.com) – Early Tuesday morning, Manchester police stopped a car, but it turned out to be more than just a routine traffic stop.
At around 5:45 a.m., police assigned to the Manchester Police Crime Unit spotted a vehicle traveling in the area of Union Street and Silver Street.
The officers thought that they recognized a different wanted person in the vehicle, so they stopped the car.
It was a case of mistaken identity, however, the driver, 20-year-old Shanti Santiago-Martinez, was found hiding about 6.7 grams of heroin inside her bra, police said.
She was then arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled drug and falsifying physical evidence.
