BOSTON – Two people were shot Friday night near the Jackson Square MBTA station in Jamaica Plain.
The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. in the area of 277 Centre Street.
According to police, a man in his 50s has died and a man in his 20s is in critical condition.
Boston Police Commissioner William Evans said this is the 17th homicide in the city this year.
