CHELSEA, Mass. — Two Market Basket employees have been suspended after they started fighting in the checkout line.
Chelsea police say they responded to the Market Basket and were told there was a fight, but it was minor. After seeing the video, police are following up with everyone involved.
The store tells Boston 25 News that both employees, a checkout manager and a clerk, have been placed on leave.
Market Basket says they take this matter seriously and will continue to work with police.
A witness, who shops at the Chelsea Market Basket frequently, told Boston 25 News the incident was extremely upsetting to see.
There is no word on what led up to the fight.
