THORNTON, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) - This morning, a New Hampshire woman is awaiting arraignment for allegedly crashing into a state police cruiser.
The trooper was in the middle of a traffic stop on 93 in the town of Thornton when an SUV struck him Sunday afternoon.
The SUV skidded off the road and into the tree line.
According to New Hampshire State Police, the car involved had been reportedly weaving in and out of traffic just 1 minute before the crash.
The driver, 62-year-old Katherine Dangelo and Sgt. Victor Muzzey were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
State police say the driver was heavily medicated at the time of the crash.
