2 dead after car slams into Dunkin Donuts in Lynn

LYNN, Mas.. — Two people are dead after a car crashed into a building on the Lynnway northbound.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. when an SUV hit a Dunkin Donuts so hard it spun around into the middle of the road.

Police were on the scene investigating and cleaning up until around 7 a.m.

The two occupants of the vehicle, a man and a woman, were thrown from the vehicle and died.

Police said they believe speed was a factor in the crash, it’s unclear if alcohol was involved.

The two people who were killed have been identified as Salvador Quinones, 26, of Boston, and Silvia Rodas-Dugal, 25, of Chelsea.

It's unclear when the store will reopen, but according to employees it could be several days.
