BOSTON — Safe mode has been lifted at three Boston schools after a threatening message Wednesday morning, school officials tell Boston 25 News.
School officials say English High School in Jamaica Plain, Madison Park Technical Vocational High School and John D. O'Bryant School, both in Roxbury, were put in safe mode Wednesday due to a threatening message.
While officials determined there was no credible threat, the schools were placed in safe mode, meaning no visitors were allowed into the building.

As of 1:30 p.m., safe mode was lifted at the schools.

As a result, our school was placed into safe mode at 10:14 this morning. During safe mode, classes continue as normal, but no visitors are allowed to enter our building and our doors are locked.
As a result, we will continue to have additional police presence at our school today through tomorrow as a precaution.
Anyone who is found to have made threats against our school is subject to <span class="wsc-grammar-problem" data-grammar-phrase="consequences from" data-grammar-rule="CONSEQUENCES_OF_FOR" data-wsc-lang="en_US">consequences from</span> law enforcement and the BPS Code of Conduct.
