2 arrested during Arlington cocaine trafficking investigation

ARLINGTON, Mass. — Two men were arrested as part of a cocaine trafficking investigation in Arlington.

Police said they were investigating 22-year-old David Good, and were doing surveillance Friday in a commercial parking lot on Massachusetts Avenue in preparation of arresting him.

Officers said they saw Good riding passenger in the seat of a car that drove up into the lot. Officers said 19-year-old Jeremy Weaver was driving, and a woman was in the backseat.

The officers went up to the car and told Good they had a warrant for his arrest. When they searched the vehicle, police said they found nearly 20 grams of marijuana, cash, scales, and cocaine. In total, 225.5 grams of cocaine were seized from Good, police said.

Good was charged with two counts of trafficking in a Class B substance and Weaver with possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.

Good is being held without bail pending arraignment Monday in Cambridge District Court. Weaver is being held on $5,000 bail and will be arraigned Monday as well.
