NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — A teenager is dead and a 20-year-old is in serious condition in an apparent homicide shooting Saturday night in New Bedford.
Police say Paul Collazo-Ruiz, 17, was found dead when police and paramedics arrived just after 7 p.m. in the area of 160 Ashley Boulevard.
The 20-year-old New Bedford man is in serious condition at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
Massachusetts State Police, New Bedford Police and Homicide Unit prosecutors are investigating this as a homicide.
