ARLINGTON, Mass. — A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection to the shooting death of a 16-year-old in Somerville last week, according to Arlington police.
The juvenile has been held without bail pending arraignment. He also has an outstanding arrest warrant in Worcester Juvenile Court, police say.
Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan announced Tuesday, a teen sought by police last week had been located and arrested in connection to the case.
Police told Boston 25 News that Jonathan Perry, 17, was not a suspect in the deadly shooting of Tenzin Kunkhyen, 16, but instead were looking for more information about what took place inside the home at 14 Farragut Ave.
Jonathan lived in the home where the shooting occurred. Tenzin had lived and attended school in Somerville but recently moved to Malden.
Police have not said if Jonathan Perry has been charged in the shooting.

Police say Kunkhyen was shot inside a home on Farragut Avenue last Tuesday.
However, police haven’t said much about what happened inside the home or who fired the shot. They simply said there was no danger to the community and the teenager knew the people who lived in the house.

Keith Harlow, 31, was arrested in the same apartment as the 17-year-old by Arlington Police. He was charged with possession of heroin, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
