OMAHA, Neb. (MyFoxBoston.com) - A Nebraska-based meat company is recalling more than 167,000 pounds of ground beef over possible E. coli contamination.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, All American Meats of Omaha shipped the products to retailers across the country. The recall includes 60- and 80-pound boxes of ground beef produced Oct. 16 with a Nov. 3 "sell by" date, a USDA inspection stamp and an establishment number of 20420. E. coli bacteria can cause dehydration, diarrhea and cramps, the USDA reports. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled meat.
