A 16-year-old man was arrested in West Warwick, Rhode Island in connection to the fatal stabbing of a Fall River teen, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III.
Quinn said the teen was charged with murder in the death of 17-year-old William Wheeler, after police responded late Wednesday night to a 911 call about a young man who had been stabbed on Fountain Street.
Police say they responded around 11:55 p.m., and found Wheeler lying on the floor of an apartment suffering from an apparent stab wound.
