PELHAM, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- One person was killed in a five-alarm fire that ravaged a two-story single-family home, according to police.
When fire crews arrived at the scene, four people were trapped inside the home. Fire fighters were able to rescue three of the victims: one jumped from a second story window, another was rescued from the kitchen on the first floor, and a third victim was brought out through a window on the second floor.
Despite intense rescue efforts, the fourth victim perished. Positive identification of the victim has yet to be made.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. Officials believe the flames may have started on the first floor in the living room.
